1. Le Germain Hotel & Spa, Charlevoix
For the most romantic stay, we recommend the Signature room in the Pavillon Le Clos at Le Germain Hotel & Spa in Charlevoix. Equipped with a large bed as sublime as it’s comfortable, a spacious glass shower or a free-standing bathtub and a pretty balcony overlooking the mountains, you can easily step into relaxation mode with your significant other.

Also featuring a spa bordered by lavender and a natural habitat for Highland cows, it’s the perfect local destination to breathe in fresh air and recharge your batteries. Baie-Saint-Paul beach is also a 15-minute walk away and is a great place to have a sunset picnic. For a good latte, stop by Mousse Café, a charming bistro-co-op a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.

2. Capitole Hotel, Québec
With its elegant atmosphere, it’s impossible not to fall under the spell of Capitole Hotel and its luxurious suites. During our stay, we opted for the sublime citadine suite, equipped with a comfy king bed, a huge bathtub and an incredible view of the city.

Nothing better than starting the morning in their cozy bathrobe with a nice coffee admiring the landscape and ending the day in a bubble bath while the city lights up before your eyes.

On the 9th floor of this 5-star hotel, you’ll also find a gorgeous swimming pool where you can relax with an incredible panoramic view of Quebec! Then, stop by the Clubby Bar on the 6th floor to discover an evolving seasonal cocktail menu in a trendy and chic atmosphere. 4. Nelligan Hotel, Montreal
Named as one of Canada’s best hotels by Condé Nast Traveler, Nelligan Hotel is an amazing destination for a romantic getaway in a magnificent decor. Located in the heart of Saint-Paul Street, the location is ideal for exploring Old Montreal and its idyllic streets.

5. Monville Hotel, Montreal
For a weekend with your better half in downtown Montreal, you can choose Monville Hote for its distinguished suites. With its central location, you’ll be close to 2 metro stations, Palais des congrès and Old Montreal, so you can easily get around to all your activities.

6. Maelström Mountain, Lac-Beauport
To celebrate in style in the most spectacular accommodations, you can’t go wrong by booking a getaway to Maelström Mountain in Lac-Beauport. During our stay, we were charmed by the Lagöm, a fully equipped Nordic-inspired tiny-house with a breathtaking view of the forest. Its minimalist decor and its large terrace, perfect for yoga sessions, as well as its proximity to numerous walking trails, make it an ideal hideout for adventurous couples.

Since our last visit at the very beginning of 2020, several new constructions with innovative architecture have been added to the Maelström Mountain area and the result is breathtaking! You should definitely check out the Aura, Hygge and Cliff cabins to plan a magical romantic getaway that your loved one won’t ever forget.
7. Bel-Air Tremblant, Mont-Tremblant
If you’re looking for a place across Quebec where you can sleep in a dome or a pod under the stars, the different accommodations in Bel Air Tremblant are worth adding to your local bucket list. Including a kitchen, a full bathroom and soft beds, some also have private spas or large bathtubs to add an extra touch of relaxation to your next romantic getaway.

Renting a chalet at Bel Air Tremblant will also give you access to the Clubhouse with a swimming pool, a jacuzzi, a tennis court, a yoga room, a fitness center as well as the Bel Air Bistro and the Ono Spa. 8. Panora Loges, Sainte-Anne-des-Monts, Gaspésie
Lots of relaxation in the sun, reading sessions by the water and sipping coffees to the sound of the waves crashing, that pretty much sums up our peaceful vacation at Panora Loges!

A true haven, we fell in love with this magical place! Just a few minutes from Gaspésie National Park, it’s the perfect spot to take a spa break by the river, spend evenings around the fire or simply relax while admiring the breathtaking landscape! If you’re looking for an accommodation that’s as modern as it’s beautiful, fully equipped and surrounded by nature, you should definitely take note of Panora Loges for your next local vacation! Cozy Cabins Getaways
9. Chalets Hygge, Orford
A must in the Eastern Townships, these chalets are perfect for couples who want to slow down surrounded by nature. Located very close to Mont-Orford, the 6 chalets whose names recall the most beautiful Nordic destinations will offer you a magical stay.

After having tried 3 out of 6, during 3 different seasons, we’re still under the charm of these idyllic and soothing chalets at any time of the year. Their cozy atmosphere and Scandinavian style where all the rooms are bathed in natural light will certainly appeal to you too. Attention to detail is present in all the chalets where you’ll be looked after with great care by Kerri and Philippe, the incredible owners.

10. Suite Chalets, La Conception
Meaning forest in Danish, Suite Chalets‘ SKÖV cabin lives up to its name thanks to its panoramic view which gives the impression of being perched from the top of the trees! Located a few minutes from Mont-Tremblant, in the Chic Shack area, the SKÖV chalet impresses with its modern design and warm ambiance.

Including a rotating central fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, an airy living room, a trendy bathroom, three bright bedrooms, a huge terrace with private spa as well as an outdoor fire area, it feels like a little corner of paradise.

11. Chalets Nöge, Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval
Surrounded by the mountains and located about 40 minutes from Quebec City, it’s impossible not to fall in love with the magnificient decor of the Nöge chalets! We had the chance to stay in Nöge 2 and we were impressed by its style harmonizing Scandinavian and Californian touches in the heart of Quebec’s nature.

Featuring indoor and outdoor fireplaces, a sauna and a large terrace with a spa, it’s the perfect refuge to indulge in relaxation. With its pretty hiking trails just a few steps away, the Nöge chalets lack nothing for an idyllic getaway! We can’t get tired of a view like that, that’s for sure!

12. Chalet Rockä, Chertsey
For a vacation in Lanaudière, we recommend the gorgeous Chalet Röcka in Chertsey. As soon as you arrive, you’ll immediately be charmed by the abundance of relaxation areas both inside and outside the chalet.
With its cozy solarium, outdoor spa, pretty rooms and spacious lounge for your movie nights, it’s the ideal place to relax before exploring the surrounding area! And if you plan to stay there during the summer season, you’ll have access to a BBQ and swimming in Lake Lili nearby.
